What is the factorization?

In mathematics, the factorization expression can be defined as the multiplication in which a set of numbers that are multiplied (factors of a number) equal the number in question to be factorized.

This operation can be done either by hand or by using our factor calculator. Few examples of factorization expressions are presented below:

  • 10 = 2 x 5
  • 20 = 2 x 2 x 5
  • 30 = 2 x 3 x 5
  • 40 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5
  • 50 = 2 x 5 x 5
  • 60 = 2 x 2 x 3 x 5
  • 70 = 2 x 5 x 7
  • 80 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5
  • 90 = 2 x 3 x 3 x 5
  • 100 = 2 x 2 x 5 x 5
  • 124 = 2 x 2 x 31
  • 1,000 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 5 x 5
  • 10,000 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5
  • 100,000 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5
  • 1,000,000 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5.
