How does the power calculator by Ohms law work?
This is an electricity tool designed to determine any two of the equation variables from power, resistance, voltage or current by applying Ohm’s Law which requires you to input only two given variables. This is a flexible tool because it can handle power, resistance, voltage and current calculation by taking account of the variables in different energy measurement units as presented below:
- Voltage [V] in Kilovolt, Volt or Milivolt and is default set on Volt but it can be changed to another unit if the case.
- Resistance [R] can be specified either in Ohm, KiloOhm or MegaOhm and is default set on Ohm.
- Current [I] can input either in Ampere, Miliapere or Kiloampere and the default selection is Ampere.
- Power [P] can be specified either in Watt, Kilowatt, Megawatt or Horsepower. Power is default settled on Watt but it can be changed to the other units.
The power calculator needs only two from the four variables in order to compute the right values for the other 2 variables from Ohms Law.
