The algorithm behind this torque calculator is based on the equations provided below that depend on the variable to be calculated:

- T = F * D

- F = T / D

- D = T / F

Where:

T = Torque (usually expressed in Newton-meter).

F = Force (often measured in Newton).

D = Distance (often expressed in meter).
